UPDATE: I don't know what I was thinking when I drew the original background... It didn't imply being in a submarine at all. Well, someone had pointed it out, and I decided to correct it. Blame me. (I also cut the picture a bit to make it look less "open")

Commission for an anon.

It's anon's OC Autumn Flow in a US Navy uniform (petty officer, 3rd Class), working in a submarine. Some things go wrong, though =P
PS: It's a low res version, the badge on her chest looks better in normal quality :P
Art by me.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck peacetime military. At least during war, you won't get dinged for trivial bullshit.

I just wanted to point out that it amused me greatly that the "HEAD" is a water tight door.

"General Quarters, General Quarters! All hands man your battle stations. Up and forward to starboard, down and aft to port. Set material condition zebra throughout the ship. General Quarters, General Quarters!"

That's a surface ship thing.
We in the submarine force know not this "condition zebra" you speak of.

Hehe, very cute. Nice work on her NWU uniform.
The only thing about this image that seems odd to me is...she is a mare on a submarine (Enlisted Female Sailors don't serve on submarines, but they have started integrating a couple Female Officers).

Actually, no one ever said it would be fun

Reminds me of that dialogue that soldier said on the beginning of last level of the game HOMEFRONT;

"Join the Army they said. See the world they said."

"I should have been a sailor."

Which is quite ironic considering the circumstances of the events that have occurred in the game's background story.

Thousands upon thousands of Newtons of pressure bearing down on the submarine, and they still manage to make it Explode instead of IMplode.

That takes effort.

Sounds like something bones would say.
