Things escalate quickly. And might get out of hand, even if everything is seemingly under control.

Well, I tried to make the layout of this comic look a bit more interesting. I hope I achieved what I wanted.
Special thanks to labba94 for his feedback on the pictures, and to VoidChicken, doubleWbrothers and alamais for pre-reading and putting up with me. You guys are awesome.

"Here is Johnny !" Classic ^^
This approach actually reminds me a lot of the ones taken by Queen Chrysalis. That, and chances are that (particularly in learning how to adapt with which approaches are too far and within some degree of control, and learning how to read people), Chrysalis had similar experiences. Can't help but wonder how Spike would react to an impressed changeling revealing that he/she has been watching him and thinks he can make a valuable contribution towards Chrysalis (err... still trying to figure out why the changelings need to be evil instead of neutral though).
Anywho... theories aside, you have very dynamic character expressions in your work in general, and a good eye for detail in the backgrounds (like the fact that the bushes don't look mashed together but are instead well placed).
And thank you!
1/ that his crush on her has to end, it will never happen because he is a baby dragon, and to twist the knife, he is just a child and that he needs to play with somepony his own age,
2/that she is somewhat savvy enough that she knows Spike is purposely sabotaging her dates with other stallions; and
3/ kindly tell him that Sweetie Belle has a crush on him, and even though she knows that it will not last because they are too young to understand love like adults can (hah, that's a load, Rarity the hypocrite), he should use his effort away from trying to woo her and get Sweetie Bell or some other filly. Obviously some filly (or mare, if she is willing to wait a little while for him to grow up) will catch his eye and would give him the attention he deserves that Rarity will obviously (and mercifully in her eyes) refuse to give.
....can't help it, can't stand Rarity with someone else, even if Spike's a kid and it's obvious that it wouldn't happen and it would be better to hook up with somepony or somefilly else. (I will always root for the underdog, there is too much IRL where said underdog is swept under the rug, I believe in that saying of every dog having his day, and I believe Spike hasn't had his day in the sun---maybe it already has, and he missed it) I know, it's childish, let it go. Flame if you want. It's just what I feel.
I am also well aware of the trope were characters are blissfully ignorant of what is seems to be obvious to the audience, and that if the characters in a story are able to see the white elephant in the room as the audience can, then the story be adversly and fatally affected. So for the sake of the story, we have to have own own lampshade and just move on. Nothing to see here....**whistles**
You can ignore the rant at your leisure. Shouldn't have said it in the first place, but it's out now. I have to take responsibility for my words.
I truly understand that everyone isn't hooked or like the same thing. That's awesome--it makes everyone unique and interesting. But sometimes I have to remind myself that even though my opinion is different to someone else's, I should be mature enough to just let things go. Love and tolerance, right?
And for the record, black comedy is sinfully hilarious!!
